Crabapple, roselow (Malus sargenti roselow) Grows to 22 feet in height.  Shade intolerant.  Grows in any soil.  October fruit that is great bird habitat. 

 

 

Redosier Dogwood (Cornus sericea) Moderate to rapid growth from 6 to 15 inches per year.  Mature height of 9 feet.  Grows best in moist soils in partial shade to full sun.  Brilliant red stalks makes a unique addition to the winter landscape.

Holly Winterberry (Ilex verticillata) Slow growing with a mature height of 8 feet. Loam moist to wet soils.  Grows in partial shade to full sun.
